Ceralyte 50 is the best formula to balance nutrient levels in children with fever and/or dehydration where a lower sugar formula is preferred; adults with mild dehydration; diarrhea due to medications; traveler’s diarrhea; cancer patients on medications causing diarrhea; Crohn’s, Celiac, or Ulcerative Colitis patients with diarrhea; and dehydration from excessive alcohol consumption. With more carbohydrates than the standard WHO formula and a lower osmolality, our formula is absorbed quickly by the body for rapid rehydration.
