Cera Products launches new Ready to drink ceralyte®
Hilton Head Island, S.C. Cera Products, Inc announces a new ceralyte oral rehydration solution (ORS) will be available in March 2017 as a 250 ml (8 oz) lemon-flavor ready make drink with a three year shelf life. Ceralyte®, the new-generation rice-based gluten-free Oral Rehydration Solution is the first such product to effectively treat both dehydration and diarrhea. It reduces fluid losses as it rehydrates, and can be used for all ages.
Ceralyte® is a non-prescription product that safely treats diarrhea, regardless of etiology, in both children and adults. Clinically tested at renowned institutions, it is regulated by the FDA as a medical food and, as such, a physician should supervise its use. Ceralyte® has been available and widely used in powder form, but now also as ready-made.
